About &you Labs

What is &you Labs?

It is a blood testing service. Your sample is tested at an accredited lab. Your results come back with a doctor's written interpretation and a clear action plan.

How is it different from a hospital lab?

Panels are built for ongoing health, not just for spotting disease. Every result shows a standard range next to a healthy target range. You get a doctor-developed action plan with your results, and your history is tracked over time so you can see your trends. Our guide to the &you Labs experience, from booking to results walks through the whole journey step by step.

Is it safe?

Yes. Blood draws use standard sterile technique, and samples are tested at an accredited lab.

Booking and scheduling

How do I book a draw?

Book online through the &you Labs page. Choose your panel, pick a date and time, and share your address.

What time of day can I be tested?

Morning slots are usually best, since most panels need fasting first. Some tests do not need fasting, so afternoon slots may work for those.

Can I reschedule?

Yes, through the booking platform. Check the booking page for the current process.

Do I need a doctor's order?

No. Standard panels are available directly to you. Some add-on tests may call for a short conversation with a clinician first.

Getting ready for your draw

Do I need to fast?

Most comprehensive panels need 8 to 12 hours of fasting for accurate blood sugar, insulin, and cholesterol results. Water is fine during that time.

What about my medications?

Keep taking most medications as usual. A few specific tests may call for holding a medication, and your booking instructions will note this. Never stop a regular medication without your doctor's advice.

What about supplements?

Some supplements can throw off certain results. Biotin, for example, can affect thyroid test accuracy. Share a list of everything you take before your test, since a few may need to be paused briefly.

Should I avoid exercise beforehand?

Avoid hard exercise for 24 to 48 hours before your draw for the cleanest results, especially for muscle and stress-related markers.

What about coffee?

Skip coffee until after your draw if you are fasting, for the cleanest results.

Should I be well hydrated?

Yes. Being well hydrated makes the draw easier and improves accuracy.

What if I am sick?

Reschedule. Being sick affects many results. Wait 2 to 4 weeks after you recover for routine testing.

What if I forget to fast?

Reschedule the fasting parts. A few tests, like vitamin D, do not need fasting and can still go ahead.

The blood draw

How long does it take?

Just a few minutes for the actual draw, plus a little time for setup.

Does it hurt?

You will feel a brief pinch. Most people find it easy to handle.

Can someone be with me?

Yes. Many people like having someone there, especially for a first draw or if they feel nervous.

What if I am afraid of needles?

Lying down, breathing slowly, and looking away all help most people. If you have a strong fear of needles, mention it before your test.

What if my veins are hard to find?

Being well hydrated makes veins easier to find. Mention it in advance if this is often an issue for you.

Can children be tested?

Yes, with a parent or guardian present. Panels for children use smaller sample amounts.

Panels and what gets tested

What is in the standard panels?

The Baseline panel covers 88 health signals. The Advanced panel covers 103. Both span categories like heart and blood vessel health, weight and metabolism, sex hormones, thyroid, inflammation and stress, liver, kidneys and electrolytes, nutrients, blood and immunity, and the pancreas. See the full list of biomarkers for details.

Can I add specific tests?

Yes. Add-on tests are available for specific needs. Browse current options on the booking page.

Do you offer testing focused on cancer detection?

Yes. Learn more on our early detection cancer test page.

If any of this sounds like what you have been looking for, you can book your &you Labs panel whenever you are ready.

Your results

How are results delivered?

Through a digital report you can access on your phone or computer, with a downloadable copy available.

What is in the report?

Each result appears with the standard lab range and a healthy target range side by side. You also get a doctor's written interpretation, a personalized action plan, and a comparison to your past results if you have any. Learn more about what comes after your results on our action plan page.

Can my doctor see my results?

Yes. Share your report as a PDF, or grant your doctor direct access through the platform. Many people bring their report to their regular doctor.

What if I do not understand something in my results?

Your written interpretation explains each finding in plain language. If something is still unclear, your regular doctor can walk through it with you too.

What happens if something looks abnormal?

Your report flags it clearly and explains what it may mean, along with suggested next steps.

Are my results saved for later?

Yes. Your account keeps your full history, so you can track your trends over the years.

Pricing and coverage

How much does a panel cost?

Pricing is not listed here, since it can change. Check the &you Labs page for current pricing. Each panel is priced as one bundle covering every test it includes.

Is it covered by insurance?

Coverage rules vary by provider and change over time. Check directly with your insurance provider or HMO for current details.

Do you offer options for companies?

Yes, testing is available for teams and organizations. Reach out through the &you Labs page to learn more.

After your results

What should I do with my results?

Read your written interpretation closely. Start on the suggested lifestyle steps, and share your results with your regular doctor if you have one.

When should I test again?

This depends on what your results show. A common pattern is retesting 8 to 12 weeks after a lifestyle change, 3 to 6 months after a medication change, and once a year if you are healthy overall. Your doctor may suggest sooner if you manage an ongoing condition.

Can I talk to a clinician about my results?

Yes, clinician support is available. Details are on the platform.

Quality and trust

Where are samples tested?

At accredited reference laboratories, using standard quality practices.

How accurate is the testing?

It uses the same lab-grade methods and quality checks used everywhere else in the industry.

What if I think a result looks wrong?

A repeat test resolves most concerns. Reach out to support if you have a question about a specific result.

Are the people reading my results qualified?

Yes. Licensed doctors and clinical staff review and interpret every report.

A few specific situations

I am pregnant. Can I still get tested?

Yes. Pregnancy-appropriate panels are available. Talk with your OB-GYN about what makes sense for you.

Should I stop my medications before testing?

Generally, no. Keep taking your regular medications, and disclose everything you take so your results are read in context.

I was recently sick. Should I wait?

Yes, wait 2 to 4 weeks after you recover for a result that reflects your normal baseline.

I train heavily. Does that affect my results?

It can. Test after 24 to 48 hours of rest for the most stable baseline, and mention your training level so it can be factored into your results.

I am traveling soon. Can I still book?

Yes. Book with enough lead time before your trip so you have room to review your results and act on them beforehand.

I manage an ongoing health condition. Is this still useful?

Yes. Regular testing supports ongoing care. Share your results with the doctor who manages your condition.

Privacy

Is my data private?

Yes, it is protected under Philippine data privacy law and is never shared without your consent.

Who can see my results?

You, the reviewing clinician, and anyone you choose to share them with.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Reach out to support to request this.

A few more common questions

Is &you Labs testing as accurate as a hospital lab?

Yes. It uses the same blood draw method, the same accredited lab, and the same lab methods. The only real difference is where the draw happens.

What does "healthy target range" mean?

A standard lab range flags disease. A healthy target range aims higher, at the level linked to feeling and functioning your best, so issues can be caught earlier. Our how it works page walks through the full process from booking to your action plan.

Why do panels test so many things at once?

A single marker can miss a pattern that shows up across several markers together. Testing broadly catches more, and it means fewer separate visits for you.

Can I test my whole family?

Yes. Bookings for multiple family members are supported.
