Finasteride works by lowering DHT to slow and stop further loss. Most people see less shedding in 2–3 months and visibly thicker hair by 3–6 months, mostly in areas that are thinning rather than fully bare. Results last only while you keep using both treatments daily.

The serum can cause mild scalp irritation, dryness, or itching. Some shedding in the first few weeks is normal — new hairs pushing out weaker ones.
